One 80 g jar/2,000 L drinking water OR one 1.2 kg jar/30,000 L drinking water (16 mg antibiotic activity/L). Give at first sign of disease, as sole source of drinking water for 7d.

Automatic proportioner calibrated in metric units: To make stock solution, dissolve contents of 80 g jar in 4 L water. Set to deliver 0.5 L stock solution/250 L drinking water and set medicator to deliver 2 mL stock solution/L water.

Automatic proportioner calibrated in U.S. units: Dissolve contents of 80 g jar in water to make 1 U.S. gal stock solution and set medicator to deliver 0.25 oz stock solution/U.S. gal water.

One 80 g jar/960 L drinking water OR one 1.2 kg jar/14,400 L drinking water (33 mg antibiotic activity/L). Give at first sign of disease, as sole source of drinking water until 5d after disappearance of bloody stools, maximum 10d.

Stock solution: Dissolve contents of one 80 g jar in 4 L water and dispense at rate of 1 L/240 L water.
